Overview

PVC wood-plastic (WPC) profile equipment is a continuous production line used to mix PVC resin, wood powder (or bamboo powder, straw powder, and other plant fibers), and additives (stabilizers, lubricants, compatibilizers, etc.) and produce PVC wood-plastic profiles (such as flooring, wall panels, fences, boardwalk panels, etc.) through extrusion molding. Its core feature is the automation of the entire process from raw material pretreatment to mixing and modification, extrusion molding, shaping and cutting, and post-processing. It balances improved material compatibility with precise profile control, making it a core production equipment in the PVC wood-plastic industry.

Strong Compatibility: "One Machine, Multiple Functions" Adaptable to Multiple Product Categories and Formulas


Profile Category Compatibility: By changing customized molds (such as flooring, wall panels, fences, and walkway molds), a variety of profiles with cross-sectional widths of 50-300mm and thicknesses of 5-50mm can be produced without replacing the entire production line. For example, the same 75-type extruder can quickly switch between "outdoor flooring → indoor wall panels → balcony railings" after changing the mold, with a changeover time of ≤2 hours.


Raw Material Formula Compatibility: It can stably handle formulas with plant fiber filler content of 30%-60% (wood flour, bamboo flour, straw flour, etc. are all acceptable), and supports the addition of functional additives (such as flame retardants and UV stabilizers). For high-fiber formulas (>40%), a twin-screw granulator can be selected for material pretreatment to avoid extrusion "bridging" (material blockage), solving the pain point that traditional plastic extruders cannot handle high-fiber fillers.


Functional upgrade compatibility: Supports "co-extrusion process" modification, which can coat the profile surface with a PVC wear-resistant layer (such as an aluminum oxide composite layer) and a wood grain decorative layer without adding an additional production line, directly increasing the added value of the product (such as increasing the wear resistance revolution from 300 revolutions to over 600 revolutions).

Product features and advantages

PVC wood-plastic composite profiles are a new type of environmentally friendly material made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin and plant fibers such as wood flour and bamboo flour. Manufactured through blending, granulation, and extrusion molding processes, it combines the characteristics of both plastic and wood. Its core features can be summarized as follows:


High strength and high hardness: The tightly interlocking structure of the plastic matrix and fibers within the material significantly enhances its mechanical properties compared to natural wood. For example, its nail-holding power is 3 times that of ordinary wood and 5 times that of particleboard, and its surface hardness is 2-5 times that of wood. Its flexural strength is typically between 15-35 MPa, and its elastic modulus is approximately 2-3 GPa, enabling it to withstand heavy outdoor loads.


Outstanding waterproof and moisture-proof performance: The hydrophobicity and closed structure of PVC resin result in extremely low water absorption. According to GB/T 24508-2020 standard testing, the 24-hour water absorption rate is ≤1.0% (ordinary type), and moisture-proof products can control it to within 0.5%. Even when submerged in water for extended periods, it will not swell, rot, or mold, making it suitable for damp environments such as kitchens and bathrooms.


It exhibits excellent dimensional stability with a linear expansion coefficient of approximately 2×10⁻⁵/°C, far lower than that of wood. In thermal cycling tests ranging from -20°C to 70°C, the dimensional change rate is ≤0.5%, effectively preventing warping and deformation caused by temperature fluctuations.
