PVC chicken feeder equipment is an industrial system specifically designed for producing PVC chicken feeders for poultry farming. It primarily uses an extrusion molding process to transform PVC resin raw materials into feeder products with specific structures and functions.


  • Raw Material Pretreatment System

High-Speed Mixer: Mixes PVC resin, calcium powder, anti-aging agents, stabilizers, and other raw materials in a specific ratio, ensuring uniform material dispersion.


  • Extrusion Molding System

Twin-Screw Extruder: Employs a conical twin-screw extruder (such as the SJZ65/132 model) with an optimized length-to-diameter ratio (typically 25:1-33:1), efficiently plasticizing high-calcium PVC powder (calcium powder content can reach 50%-70%), avoiding the cumbersome pre-granulation process required by single-screw extruders.


  • Precision Die

 Custom-made dies (such as those with rolled edges or partition structures) are used according to the feeder shape, employing S136 die steel or copper sizing sleeves to ensure that the feeder cross-sectional dimensional tolerances are controlled within ±0.1mm.


  • Cooling and Shaping System

Vacuum Cooling Water Tank: Utilizes negative pressure adsorption and circulating water cooling to quickly shape the extruded PVC troughs, resulting in a smooth, deformation-free surface.


  • Cutting and Rewinding System

Planetary Sawing Machine: Equipped with a servo motor drive, it precisely controls the cutting length (error ≤ ±1mm), producing clean cuts.

Twin-screw extrusion technology directly processes high-calcium powders. Utilizing a conical twin-screw structure (such as the SJZ65/132 model), with an optimized length-to-diameter ratio of 25:1-33:1, it can directly process PVC powders with calcium powder content as high as 50%-70%. Compared to single-screw extruders that require pre-granulation, twin-screw extruders eliminate the granulation step, saving 15%-20% on electricity costs per ton of product, while also avoiding granule storage and transportation costs. Furthermore, the strong shearing and mixing capabilities of the twin-screw ensure uniform plasticization of the material, with a product density error ≤ ±0.02g/cm³ and a surface smoothness below Ra0.8μm.


High capacity and specification flexibility: Single-unit capacity covers 125-400kg/h (e.g., the SJ51 model 125kg/h, dual-die models up to 400kg/h), adapting to different production scale needs. By changing the mold, the production of various types of feeders can be quickly switched, including long strip type, partitioned type, and automatic feeding type, to meet the specification requirements from chicks (10-15cm wide) to adult chickens (30-40cm wide). The mold replacement adopts a hydraulic quick-release structure, and the replacement time of core components (such as mouth mold and mandrel) is less than 10 minutes. Furthermore, through diagonal locking and concentricity adjustment technology, it is ensured that the dimensional deviation of the product after the new mold is installed is ≤±0.1mm.

PVC chicken feeders are specialized feeding devices for poultry farming, made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin with added anti-aging agents, stabilizers, and impact-resistant additives, through extrusion, injection molding, or thermoforming processes. They are widely used in home-based free-range poultry farming, small and medium-sized chicken farms, and large-scale broiler/layer chicken farming. Their features closely revolve around "adaptability to the farming environment, feeding needs of the flock, and ease of daily maintenance," specifically in terms of durability, hygiene and safety, ease of use, structural adaptability, and cost-effectiveness.
