Overview

Equipment Components: Single-screw extruder – Die – Cooling and shaping water tank – Belt traction machine – Winding machine


(1) Extrusion Section: For the production of profiles with small cross-sectional dimensions, such as thermal insulation strips, a single-screw extruder or co-extrusion is generally chosen for molding to avoid wasting production resources and energy. The selection of a single-screw extruder depends on two main factors: the size of the product cross-section and the required output. The larger the extrusion output, the larger the screw diameter; the larger the cross-sectional area (larger cross-sectional size) of the profile, the larger the screw diameter.


(2) Extrusion Die: The extrusion die is the main component for product molding. Its function is to continuously and uniformly transform the cylindrical melt provided by the extruder into a well-plasticized mold with a cross-section and geometric dimensions similar to the channel. After cooling and other processes, a high-performance profile product is obtained.


(3) Cooling and Shaping Section: A water tank and water circulation system are installed on the cooling and shaping platform. The water tank is made of stainless steel, and cooling is achieved through circulating water spray cooling. The shaping platform is equipped with a forward and backward movement device and left/right and height adjustment devices. 


(4) Traction section: The traction machine is used to continuously and automatically pull the cooled and hardened sealing strip out from the machine head. It is a frequency converter.


(5) Rewinder section: Its core function is to achieve non-stop roll changing through "alternating operation of dual reels," while precisely controlling the winding tension and wire arrangement accuracy to ensure that the roll is neat and undamaged.
