Overview

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipe production equipment is a specialized production line used to process PVC resin and related additives into PVC pipes of different specifications and applications. It is widely used in building water supply and drainage, municipal engineering, agricultural irrigation, and chemical fluid transportation. Its core function is to achieve large-scale, standardized production of PVC pipes through a continuous process of "raw material mixing → melt extrusion → shaping and cooling → traction cutting." The stability and precision of the equipment directly determine the physical properties (such as pressure resistance and impact resistance), dimensional tolerances, and appearance quality of the pipes.

Equipment features and advantages

1. High production efficiency and stable output per unit time

Compared to traditional pipe processing equipment (such as intermittent injection molding equipment), the "continuous production" mode of PVC pipe equipment has significant advantages

2. Stable product quality, meeting high standards

The "precise control" characteristics of the equipment directly guarantee pipe quality, meeting the stringent standards of the construction, municipal, and chemical industries (such as GB/T 10002.1-2006 "Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U) Pipes for Water Supply").

3. Low overall cost and short investment payback period

From the perspective of the entire lifecycle of "equipment investment - production operation - maintenance," PVC pipe equipment has a clear cost advantage.

4. Wide range of applications, adaptable to the production of multiple types of pipes

The "flexibility" of the equipment allows it to produce various types of PVC pipes, helping companies expand their market reach.

5. Low operating threshold, easy to learn and controllable risk

Modern PVC pipe equipment reduces operating difficulty and production risks through "intelligent design."

Product features and advantages

PVC pipes (mainly referring to rigid PVC pipes, PVC-U; flexible PVC pipes are rarely used in industrial/municipal applications due to their low strength and poor temperature resistance) are pipes made from PVC resin with the addition of stabilizers, lubricants, and other additives through extrusion molding. With their core advantages of "corrosion resistance, lightweight, low cost, and easy installation," they are widely used in municipal water supply and drainage, chemical transportation, power wiring, and building decoration. PVC-U pipes, with their core advantages of "corrosion and weather resistance, lightweight and low price, and easy installation and maintenance," perfectly solve the pain points of traditional metal pipes (prone to rust, high cost) and concrete pipes (heavy, prone to corrosion), making them a "cost-effective choice" in municipal engineering, building decoration, chemical transportation, and power wiring. Although there are limitations in temperature resistance and low-temperature toughness, with precise selection for specific scenarios (such as normal temperature and medium-low pressure scenarios), they remain one of the most widely used plastic pipe materials, consistently holding the top market share (approximately 40%-50%).
